Pediatric Cardiology, Weill Cornell Medicine, Queens
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Candidates must have excellent skills in non-invasive imaging including transthoracic and fetal echocardiography.
The successful candidate will be appointed under the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and will work predominantly at our New York Presbyterian campus in Queens.
The pediatric cardiac program at Weill Cornell Medicine is an integral part of the Children’s Heart Center of New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP), which is one of the largest pediatric cardiac programs in the country. Our world-renowned surgeons operate at New York Presbyterian - Weill Cornell Medical Center, as well as Columbia University Medical Center.
The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in independently interpreting pediatric and fetal echocardiograms; specialize in general pediatric cardiology and non-invasive imaging; and have an interest in working in an academic medical center. Applicants require an MD/DO degree, must be board certified in Pediatrics, board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology and eligible for New York State licensure. Salary and academic rank at Weill Cornell Medical College will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
Highlights include:
- Joining a division of twelve pediatric cardiologists affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine and work in a thriving outpatient practice, a fetal echocardiography program with over 2,700 fetal echocardiograms per year and an inpatient service which includes inpatient coverage for a service with 7,000+ annual deliveries.
- Responsibilities include coverage of the echocardiography laboratory at Weill Cornell Medicine which performs more than 6,000 echocardiograms per year.
- The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment and be an employee of Weill Cornell Medical College.

The salary range for this position is $250k to $350k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
