General Pediatrician - Full Time, NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens

The Department of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Pediatrician to join our team in Flushing, Queens at the Theresa Lang Children’s Center. The Theresa Lang Children’s Center is an academic, hospital based, multi-specialty, comprehensive pediatric care center serving the Queens community and beyond, caring for children ages 0-21.  The Theresa Lang Children’s Center is one of two continuity clinic training sites for the NYP-Weill Cornell Pediatric Residency Program and participates in the Weill Cornell Medical School student clerkship in Pediatrics.   Responsibilities include precepting residents in clinic, beside teaching with medical students in clinic, as well as direct care of your own patient panel without resident involvement. Participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives is also expected.  Some weekend and evening coverage is required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.

NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, is a 535-bed tertiary facility that provides care for residents throughout Queens and beyond and is situated in a highly culturally and ethnically diverse area. Located in Flushing, New York Presbyterian/Queens is an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College and the Komansky Children’s Hospital/NYP, has a full complement of ACGME training programs and is integrated into the residency program in pediatrics at the Komansky Children’s Hospital.  

The salary range for this position is $200k to $240k.This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.

The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials.
