Weill Cornell Medicine in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group/Brooklyn is looking for a Board Certified Otolaryngology leader to serve as Site Chief of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at New-York Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

The Site Chief is responsible for the clinical leadership of Oto-HNS, including both inpatient services and ambulatory care locations.  They will serve as the Director of Oto-HNS Patient Safety and will be a key member of the NYP/BMH leadership team.  The site chief supports the overall clinical vision of the Chair of Oto-HNS and is a Vice Chair in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine.

The Chief will help advance Oto-HNS services throughout Brooklyn. The Chief will report to the Chair of Oto-HNS at NYP/Weill Cornell and the Chief Medical Officer at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital; these services will be integrated across the NYP-WCM campuses providing outstanding clinical care in all regions, including clinical trials and clinical research.  The Chief will be a full-time faculty member of Weill Cornell Medicine and will have the opportunity to establish Oto-HNS programs suitable for a large multi-cultural patient population. The candidate should have previous leadership experience and be an outstanding clinician.  Experience as a clinical researcher is also desired.

The Weill Cornell Medicine Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery provides comprehensive ear, nose and throat clinical care, in addition to conducting cutting-edge research and educating the next generation of Oto-HNS specialists.  Our outstanding faculty provide a full spectrum of modern care, from pediatrics to geriatrics, including the latest advances in technology and evidence-based practice.  Our subspecialty programs, including cochlear implantation and implantable hearing devices, robotic surgery, salivary sialendoscopy, advanced airway surgery, and skull base surgery continue to grow.

NewYork-Presbyterian/ Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is a 651-bed academic institution, a designated ACS level 2 trauma center, and academically affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine.  We have been caring for residents throughout Brooklyn and the surrounding communities for over than 135 years.  The hospital’s academic programs include nine graduate medical education residency programs and six fellowship programs.
