Weill Cornell Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking an inpatient psychiatrist for our Affective Disorders and Crisis Stabilization unitThe service focuses on the acute care of adult psychiatric patients with mood, psychotic, trauma-related, substance use disorders and other common comorbid conditions. The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team in the provision of clinical care. Located on a historic campus in White Plains, New York, NYP WBH is a 235-bed hospital offering a full continuum of general and specialty psychiatric services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients and families.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in patient care, education, and collaboration.
  • Supervise and mentor junior faculty and clinical staff.
  • Contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Minimum Requirements: Candidates must be Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry and must possess or be eligible for a New York State license.  Academic rank commensurate with experience.

Minimum/Maximum Base Salary: $309,000
