Weill Cornell Medicine in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group/Queens is looking for an Epileptologist to join our Comprehensive Epilepsy Center in Flushing, Queens. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology and fellowship trained in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology.

Our patients have access to a full range of services from our award-winning centers of excellence dedicated to treating cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neurologic disorders and digestive conditions. This 535-bed busy tertiary facility is an ACS level 1 trauma center, an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College and serves over two million residents in the borough of Queens, NY. Our academic programs include three graduate medical education residency programs and six fellowship programs.
The position mainly consists of inpatient and outpatient epilepsy, with some general neurology as well. The candidate will be joining a group of over ten Neurologists including two Epileptologists. We have a collaborative department with weekly neuroradiology rounds and weekly general neurology complex case discussions. Our academic affiliate is Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan and we have a weekly joint Multidisciplinary Epilepsy Conference with them. Phase I presurgical evaluations occur on-site at our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and candidates are discussed at the epilepsy conference and referred for surgery at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Opportunities for collaborative research are available including funding for a research associate. Opportunities for teaching are available with Weill Cornell Medical College medical students who rotate in our department.

The salary range for this position is $265k to $350k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials.
