Anatomic Pathologist: Cytopathology & Surgical Pathology, Weill Cornell Medicine, Brooklyn
Applicants should hold an M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D. degree, be board certified in AP or AP/CP, qualified for a New York State Certificate of Qualification (COQ), and preferably have a GI/liver subspecialty fellowship or equivalent experience. Cytopathology expertise is not required but will be highly valued.
Clinical duties will be based at NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a 671-bed hospital renowned for excellent patient care. The surgical pathology service is staffed by seven pathologists, working within a semi-subspecialty sign-out model, closely collaborating with Weill Cornell Medicine. Specimen grossing is managed by four experienced PAs, one manager and 14 histology/cytology technicians. The department processes about 18,000 surgical pathology cases, 12,000 GYN cytology cases, and 4,000 non-GYN cytology cases annually.
Key responsibilities at the Park Slope, Brooklyn campus will include providing general surgical pathology services with a focus on GI/Liver pathology, general frozen sections, night and weekend surgical pathology call, tumor boards, and other routine hospital-based duties.

The salary range for this position is $260K to $370K. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
Academic rank will be commensurate with the level of experience and scholarly accomplishments.
